Attorney Howard Simcox serves in an of-counsel role at the law offices of Goldberg Finnegan in Maryland.
Mr. Simcox has been a licensed attorney since 1985 after obtaining his law degree from the University of Baltimore. He has practiced in both Washington, D.C., and Maryland since then, and routinely handles cases in both jurisdictions. Upon joining forces with Karen Sussman, Mr. Simcox did insurance defense work for Allstate, Nationwide, Farmers, Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund, Bankers Independent Insurance Co, and other insurance carriers. But for the past 20 years or more, he has represented injury victims, often bringing claims against the firm’s former insurance company clients.
Mr. Simcox is a seasoned trial attorney and has handled cases in over 15 different counties in Maryland, along with Baltimore City, and Washington D.C. He has tried countless cases in District Court and concluded approximately 150 jury trials in Circuit Court.
